The MAX7456EUI is a single-channel monochrome On-Screen Display (OSD) generator designed to simplify system design and reduce component count. It eliminates the need for external video drivers, sync separators, video switches, and EEPROM.

Compatible with both NTSC and PAL standards, the IC includes 256 user-programmable characters or pictographs stored in integrated EEPROM. It supports up to 16 rows of 30 characters, offering flexible visual elements like blinking, inverse display, and adjustable brightness per row.

Ideal for displaying logos, custom symbols, time, and date overlays, the MAX7456EUI is a compact and powerful solution for industrial, security, and entertainment systems.
