The MT8870DSR1 is a complete DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) receiver that integrates both band-split filter and digital decoder functionalities into a compact 18-SOIC package.

Its filtering section employs switched-capacitor techniques to separate high and low tone groups, while the decoder uses digital counting methods to detect and decode all 16 standard DTMF tone-pairs into a 4-bit output code.

Designed for central office-grade applications, the MT8870DSR1 also offers low power consumption, programmable guard time, and compatibility with legacy versions – making it ideal for use in modern telecom and remote control systems.
